Mobile Test

Protocol test case development and execution environment is integrated onto RF test hardware such as a Base Station Simulator for testing over the air interface. The diagram below shows how TTworkbench — from Testing Technologies GmbH — integrates into a Base Station Simulator.

In addition to the above, quantity 124 x TTCN-3 Test Cases will also be available from ETSI in July 2009. These test cases can be modified and enhanced using TTworkbench Eclipse-based TTCN-3 IDE. According to pulbic information from ETSI, the following TTCN-3 Test Cases will be available:

Core Network (SAE/IMS) Test

In addition to this, ready-made TTCN-3 Test Suites exist for SIGTRAN, IPv6, SAE/IMS, H.248 (MEGACO), DIAMETER, SIP/VoIP and Presence. Testing Technologies GmbH is the leader in TTCN-3 testing and is contracted by ETSI and other standards organizations to produce the test cases, once the standard test purposes have been agreed by the industry.
