• Bringing the external wireless environment into the controlled set up of the lab.
• Loading your BTS/BSC infrastructure, SGSN’s, GGSN’s and PDSN’s and App servers to prove the performance.
• Automate application testing of mobiles across a network infrastructure to application servers.
• Duplicating geographic topologies in the lab to understand poor application problems e.g. in Downtown Miami or other.
• Voice quality, video quality or poor data throughput or latency.
• Automate interoperability and regression testing for all relevant new mobiles supported by your customers.
• Simulate any SIP based IMS (from OMA) specified application such as “Push2 Talk” (PoC) over the RAN to an App server.
• Import drive test data into the lab system to reproduce a field environment and understand the problems experienced in those markets.
• Electronically drive mobiles through tunnels or any terrain and test for poor data throughput, dropped calls and dropped PDP contexts.
• Test handover problems and hysteresis.
• Measure performance in fast-fading problems scenarios.
• Integrate with in-house tools, protocol analyzers and　compare results with statistical from PDSN, SGSN & GGSN.
